Junior Squad:

 

Assists and supports athletes in developing all aspects of stroke technique, fitness levels and race skills to prepare for competition. Participants will be encouraged to focus on the process and enjoyment of racing as they develop habits that will continue throughout their competitive journey.

 

Athletes are encouraged to participate in at least 4 qualifying time trials in order to qualify and compete in the State Sprint Championships and State Championships.

 

Athletes train between 3-4 pool sessions per week inclusive of 10-minute dry land component prior to the commencement of each pool session.

 

The available sessions are:

 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons from 4:00 - 5:00pm

 

 

 

 

Development Squad:

 

Provides coaching and support to athletes in developing all aspects of stroke technique, fitness and race skills with a focus on race strategy as they prepare for their competitions.

Athletes are required to participate in at least 6 qualifying time trials and compete in benchmark competitions inclusive but not limited to State Sprint Championships and State Championships.

 

Our Head Coach works closely with each individual athlete to build upon their strengths and improve weaknesses whilst being encouraged to develop strategies to achieve their longer-term competitive goals.

 

Athletes train between 5-7 pool sessions inclusive of 15-minute dry land component prior to the commencement of each pool session.

 

The available sessions are:

 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Mornings 5:45am - 7:30am

 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons from 5:00pm - 6:30pm

 

Friday afternoons 4:00-6:00pm

 

 

 

Senior Squad:

 

Provides coaching, support and the performance pathway for swimmers who are fully committed to training and competing at a high National level. Athletes are required to participate in qualifying time trials and compete in benchmark competitions inclusive but not limited to State Championships and National Championships.

 

Our Head Coach works closely with each individual athlete to develop an athlete development based on age, personal goals/aspirations, swimming background and ability.

 

Athletes train between 7-9 pool sessions and 2-3 strength and conditioning sessions per week.

 

The available sessions are:

 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Mornings 5:45am - 7:30am

 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons from 5:00pm - 7:00pm

 

Friday afternoons 4:00pm-6:00pm
